Sorry, I haven't shown much progress lately. There really hasn't been too much to post. I started cutting and routing the necks for the truss rods and will hopefully get a bunch of stuff to get going on the bodies again. I will hopefully get the necks cut out and the bodies glued together and get the binding on this week as I actually have some time off with nothing planned to fill it up yet. The past several weeks, Tami has been busy finishing up the catalog for her parents, working on a birthday cake for the girlfriend of a friend at work (it was a hanging Chinese lantern cake - I will try to remember to post a couple pics for those who are interested), updating the website for her parents, and being a mother, so I have had to watch the girls a bit more than normal, which did not give me time to go to the shop. Oh yeah, and we can't forget the Fourth of July. We spent the afternoon, evening, and into the morning over at Alyssa and Dan's estate. I did not get as much stuff as I would have liked to, but it was still fun and we managed not to blow anything up or start any fires (not to say we didn't come close a couple times!). I have ordered some parts from a guy who is based in Utah, so they should arrive either today or tomorrow. They were a little cheaper than the guy I had been dealing with, so if they seem to be as good of quality, then I will probably stick with them for most things as they are closer and cheaper, so I can get more bang for the buck and that's what its all about, isn't it? I am still trying to decide if I will go with the Seymour Duncan OEM offer or just buy pickups as I need them. I would be saving 60% through Seymour Duncan, but would have to buy 12 guitars worth of pickups, which I do not need that many right now and don't have the cash on hand either. Well, I will post again once I get some pics this week and will update on the parts situation also. Thanks for checking...
Aaron
